TOWECA Farm is a project of 21st Deaf Programme, that begun operating in 2022 as a pure kienyeji chicken farm.
One of our Deaf staff decided to take full responsibility to take care of our birds wherever he is living. It begun in Ruai where he has been living for the last year.
TOWECA Farm is looking forward to the rearing of 100% pure kienyeji chicken, and other domestic birds and animals, which we believe will help provide employment opportunities for our Deaf friends who have interests in farming as well as in chicken business.
Our farm is solely managed by the Board of Management of 21st Deaf Programme, who are working together to ensure that the farm stands out for the betterment of mother organization, its members, the deaf community, the society and the nation.
Our kienyeji chicken are now bringing us positive results by laying quality eggs. We are not there yet, but we will reach our desired goal soon. We believe in co-operation, sacrifice, hardwork and patience.
We sometimes face serious challenges with our farm, but our hope still stands.
